Carl I filled a gaiwan with a generous amount of pulverized leaf, about a third full, and brewed it for 4 minutes with boiling de-ionized water here at 7500 feet. Water boils at 94 degrees at this elevation. The liquor was dense and intensely black. The initial chi bloom rose in my body immediately catalyzing my mind and lifting my spirits.
