Likes to just add more leaves when it gets too mellow and from time to time to stretch the brewing time to get some very strong kick from it :)
While not the most complex or layered sheng its flavour is spot on raw with robust vegetal and some mineral notes. Hui gan on POINT! long lasting sweet flowery white grapey apricotty. will show some astrigency if pushed no doubt AND! potent chi. tbh this tea is worth a try for its chi alone imo.
I’m new to the tea world and this pure tea caught my eye. I had never heard of this process. I enjoy learning something new each time I find a new tea to drink. The tea drinks well and improves to perfection around the 3-4 steep at 100 Celsius. I am still learning about flavor profiles, so forgive my lack of insight. Tastes herbaceous and earthy stating Delicate and refreshingith almost no astringency. Thanks!
