I never cared much for pu'er but this tea made me change my mind. I am eyeing the pu'er club now :)
Definitely a favorite. I'll be ordering more. A little difficult to break up, but very worth the time and effort. Just be patient and keep poking until it gives way. This tea was thick right from the first brew with good strong flavors. The product description hits the nail on the head with the flavors. Creamy, a little sweet, richly earthy.
Okay the title is a bit of a lie because these Cha Tou nuggets are BIG! Could steep this one for days, it feels like. Extremely silky smooth with notes of mulberry and earthy incense. I blind bought the whole cake a few days after it was listed, and am happy I did. The wet pile taste is faint and mostly on the nose on the wet leaf more than in the liquor. Highly enjoyable now, will most likely age like a beauty.
